Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Primo Invoice is an invoicing and payment platform built for UK tradespeople — including builders, plumbers, electricians, and contractors. By creating an account you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Free trial

When you sign up to Primo Invoice you get a 14-day free trial with full access to all Pro plan features. No credit card is required to start your trial.

• Your trial begins on the date you create your account
• You will not be charged anything during your 14-day trial period
• You can cancel at any time during your trial and you will not be charged
• We will notify you by email before your trial ends

3. Billing and payment

After your 14-day free trial ends, your account will automatically move to the Pro plan at £20 per month (inclusive of VAT where applicable). Payment is taken via the card or payment method you add to your account.

• Billing is monthly, on the same date each month
• Payments are processed securely via Stripe
• You will receive an email receipt for every payment
• If a payment fails, we will notify you and give you 7 days to update your payment method before your account is paused

4. Cancellation

You can cancel your Primo Invoice subscription at any time — no notice period, no cancellation fees.

• To cancel, go to Settings → Account → Cancel subscription
• Your account will remain active until the end of your current billing period
• We do not offer partial refunds for unused days in a billing period unless required by law

5. Refund policy

We want you to be happy with Primo Invoice. If you are charged and decide it's not for you, you can request a full refund within 14 days of your payment date.

• Refund requests must be made within 14 days of the charge
• To request a refund, email us at help@primoinvoice.com
• Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days back to your original payment method
• Refunds requested after 14 days of the payment date will not be accepted except where required by UK consumer law

6. Your data and invoices

Your invoice data, customer records, and business information belong to you. We store your data securely and do not sell it to third parties. If you cancel your account, you can export your data at any time before your account is closed.

7. Acceptable use

Primo Invoice is intended for legitimate business invoicing purposes. You agree not to use the platform to send fraudulent invoices, process payments for illegal goods or services, or misrepresent your business to customers.

8. Service availability

We aim to keep Primo Invoice available 99.9% of the time. Occasionally we may need to carry out maintenance or updates. We will give you as much notice as possible for any planned downtime.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before any material changes take effect. Your continued use of Primo Invoice after that date means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
